L'Aloñako Igoera est une classique montagne du Pays basque, plus courte que les ultras pyrénéens mais nettement plus technique qu'un trail roulable. Depuis le centre d'Oñati, le parcours file vers la crête d'Aloña et enchaîne Buetraitz, Akaitz, Arriurdin et Artzanburu avant de redescendre au village.
