TrailCompanion is an AI-powered trail running and ultra-marathon preparation assistant. The service is published and operated by CAVELLINI Florian, a sole trader (auto-entrepreneur) registered in France (SIRET: 103 863 577 00013), accessible at https://trailcompanion.fr.

TrailCompanion provides: personalised race preparation plans, race information (mandatory gear, logistics, nutrition, pacing), workspace management, and an AI conversational assistant to support your planning.

By accessing or using the service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

• Free tier: one active race prep workspace, access to core AI planning features.
• Paid tiers (Race Pass / Founding Member): unlimited workspaces, full feature access, and all future updates. Current pricing is available on the pricing page.

Access to the service requires creating a user account with a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity occurring under your account.

By using TrailCompanion, you agree to:

• Provide accurate information when creating and maintaining your account.
• Not use the service for any unlawful, deceptive, or abusive purpose, or in a way that infringes the rights of third parties.
• Not attempt to circumvent security mechanisms, access unauthorised data, or disrupt the operation of the service.
• Not resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit content generated by the service without prior written authorisation from the publisher.
• Respect the intellectual property rights of the publisher and third parties.

Information about races (dates, distances, mandatory gear, regulations, etc.) is provided for guidance only, based on data available at the time content is generated. Race information changes regularly.

You are solely responsible for verifying all information with the official race organisers before registering for or participating in any event. TrailCompanion cannot be held liable for errors, omissions, or changes made by organisers after data was last updated.

The service does not provide medical, dietary, professional coaching, or any other form of regulated advice. Consult a qualified professional for any decision affecting your health or athletic training.

Certain features of the service use AI language models to generate responses, plans, and recommendations. AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies or outdated information. All AI outputs should be treated as a starting point for your own research and verified against authoritative sources.

The AI assistant is not a certified coach, medical professional, or race official. Do not rely solely on AI-generated content for safety-critical decisions.

All elements of the TrailCompanion service — source code, interface, graphics, brand, editorial content — are the exclusive property of CAVELLINI Florian or licensed to the publisher.

AI-generated content produced from data you provide is made available to you for personal, non-commercial use. You retain ownership of the data you input into the service.

Any reproduction, distribution, or commercial use of any part of the service without prior written authorisation is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TrailCompanion shall not be liable for:

• Any direct or indirect damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, the service.
• Inaccuracy or incompleteness of information provided by the AI service.
• Decisions taken by the user on the basis of information provided by the service.
• Temporary service interruptions due to maintenance, technical incidents, or external causes.

Where liability cannot be excluded, TrailCompanion's total liability shall in no event exceed the amounts actually paid by the user in the twelve months preceding the claim.

You may close your account at any time from your account settings or by emailing florian@trailcompanion.fr.

TrailCompanion reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent behaviour, or cause harm to the service or other users, without prior notice or compensation.

TrailCompanion may update these Terms at any time. Users will be notified of material changes by email or by a prominent notice on the service. Continued use of the service after notification constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute arising from or relating to these Terms, and in the absence of an amicable resolution, the competent French courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules applicable to users residing in other EU Member States.
